Chen Development, LLC focuses on developing, owning, leasing, managing and acquiring various properties throughout the commercial sector.  Our company has developed properties for multiple national retailers including but not limited to: Food Lion, Publix, The Fresh Market, McDonald’s, Bojangles, Children’s Day Care, and CVS.  Chen Development has also been a “Preferred Developer” for Eckerd Corporation with a designated territory in North Carolina and Virginia.  Our company has redeveloped centers anchored by Harvey’s, IGA Food Store, Kash n’ Karry, Save-A-Lot and K-Mart.  As always, our strategy is opportunistic but more importantly relationship driven.  In twelve years of operation our company has successfully completed over 2,000,000 square feet of commercial transactions.  Chen Development, LLC and Chen Timber, LLC have invested over $400,000,000 since inception.
